Straight outta the Northern Territory, Vic August is kicking more than dust into the rap game.

Vic August is one of the most exciting talents coming out of Australia in a while. At only 17 years old, he’s written track after track filled with aggressive bars and earworm melodies. It’s no wonder why the WVS label (home of acts such as Kwasi, HVNCOQ and more) have taken interest in him, co-signing his unique, catchy style. There’s no denying that his potential stardom burns brighter than the Northern Territory in which he calls his home. His new single "Bandit" is another K.O in his arsenal of punches and proves the one thing we’re all starting to learn about Vic; he can’t settle for average.

Linking up with Perth rapper and frequent collaborator Figuero Jones, "Bandit" is the banger you expected and wanted. Autotuned and ambitious, Vic and Figuero switch between the heavy-hitting lyricism and moody cadences, showing their diversity and a knack for keeping listeners entertained. The beat is cloudy and bass-heavy, with 808s to that get the heart thumping and the lungs gasping. Throughout the lyrics, Vic and Figuero rep for their cities and preach about how they can never settle; foreshadowing a long and successful tenure in this rap game.
