Julie Chance and Jane Arnison, aka Evvol, have just released two new tracks called "New Old" and "Song For The Broken Hearted (Rollin)". The new tracks follow debut album Eternalism, the Physical LUV EP and several recent singles, all deeply personal projects that combined dancefloor sensibilities with socio-political lyrics that tackled everything from immigration to the prison system. "Song For The Broken Hearted (Rollin)" has also been given its own set of visuals which see the duo surrounded by a group of dancers whose bodies writhe and flow through the video while Chance slinks through the shot as she sings about looking inward in the midst of political and social turmoil across the globe.
Choreographer Jemima Rose Dean told Complex via email: "Everyone showed up on location without any preconceived ideas of what were about to create which allowed us the freedom to really connect with the energy of the space, the song and each other. The result is genuine and playful and we had a lot of fun making it!"
