Kodak Black Preparing to Drop His First Music Video Since Jail Release

The 21-year-old rapper was filmed on the set of a video shoot this week, just days after he received an early release from Broward County Jail. Check out behind-the-scenes footage of the shoot here.

Kodak Black didn’t waste any time.

Just days after he was released from county jail, the Painting Pictures rapper was spotted at an airport filming, what appears to be, a new music video. Kodak was seen standing outside a private jet before eventually making his way inside. You can check out behind-the-scenes footage of the shoot in the tweets below.

It’s unclear what track the upcoming visual is for. Though Kodak spent the first half of 2018 behind bars, he did release multiple records throughout the year, including “Mama” with Jadakiss and TXS, as well as features on ASAP Rocky’s “Calldrops” and Zaytoven’s “Show It.”

Prior to Kodak’s release from jail, sources claimed he intended to return straight to his mother’s house in Florida and begin working on new music. Producer London on da Track recently shared an Instagram photo in which he and Kodak are seen working in the studio, which pretty much confirms new material is on the horizon.

Complex will keep you updated on Kodak’s new music video when it becomes available.
