50 Cent Hints at Working On New Music With Eminem

In an appearance on ‘Larry King Now,’ 50 Cent revealed that a “few ideas” were spawned from a studio session with Eminem during his tour stop in London.

While discussing the prospect of working on some new music during his appearance on Larry King Now, 50 Cent revealed that he and Eminem were recently trying out a "few ideas" when the Detroit rapper made a stop over in London as part of his Revival Tour. "Yeah there’s a few ideas I’ve been working on," 50 said. "When I was working with Em in London, he said he had a few ideas that maybe we could work on together."

When asked by King if these records would ever see the light of day, 50 responded, "I don’t know, when we get a chance to record them." Whether it’s "Patiently Waiting," "Never Enough," or "Spend Some Time," Eminem and 50 have shown in the past that they are capable of creating some heat in the studio together. His comments also seem to support this belief that the two could be working on some sort of project together. In an interview with DJ Whoo Kid last month, 50 hinted at the idea of collab project with Eminem, especially since albums have been recently downsized to songs in the high single digits.

In 2014, Dr. Dre and Em agreed to deal that would release 50 from his contract, allowing him to pursue opportunities elsewhere. Considering his prior relationship with Em and Dre, 50 believes that the split was as amicable as can be. "I’m a special case and situation. It’s also because of the leverage of having the strong relationships with Eminem and Dr. Dre," he explained. "They don’t want me to be uncomfortable. They value our friendship to the point that they would never want [to jeopardize] it over that little bit of money."

Despite 50’s sudden departure from the label, the strength of the relationship between him and Eminem never seemed to dissolve, and being on good terms with one another could lead to a project we will gladly welcome with open arms.
