‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ Producer Accidentally Spoiled ‘Avengers 4’ a Year Ago

'Spider-Man: Homecoming' producer Amy Pascal might have made a big mistake a year ago when she gave away a minor detail about 'Spider-Man: Far From Home.'

There's a Spider-Man-related spoiler going around and this time it wasn't put out by Tom Holland. One year before movie-goers saw the tragic ending in Avengers: Infinity War, Spider-Man: Homecoming producer, Amy Pascal, might have ruined Avengers 4.

While Pascal was promoting Spider-Man: Homecoming, she gave away some details about Spider-Man 2 (Far From Home) which kind of spoils the next Avengers movie.

"What I think we should focus on is this Spider-Man who started in Civil War and then has this [Homecoming] movie, and then will be in the Avengers movie. And we are starting now the next one which will start a few minutes after Avengers 4 wraps as a story," said Pascal in a 2017 interview with Fandom shared through SlashFilm.

As you may remember, Avengers: Infinity War ended with Thanos snapping his fingers and getting rid of half of the universe's population—including Spider-Man. But, if what Pascal says is still true, this means Spider-Man (and likely the remaining missing heroes) will be making a return in Avengers 4.

It's not much of a surprise that the heroes will return though (this is a comic book movie after all.) There have even been several theories on how they will make their way back to the MCU. There are also several heroes with another movie in the works including Guardians of the Galaxy and Black Panther.

In the meantime, Avengers 4 is slated to arrive in theaters on May 3, 2019 while Spider-Man: Far From Home will come shortly afterward on July 5, 2019.
