Kevin Gates Got a Tattoo of YoungBoy Never Broke Again's Face

Fans had many questions about the rapper's latest ink; like, 'Why does YoungBoy appear to have six fingers in the portrait?'

Kevin Gates’ latest ink has some fans scratching their heads.

On Tuesday night, the Islah rapper hit up Instagram to unveil a new portrait tattoo of fellow Louisiana MC YoungBoy Never Broke Again. Gates credited the piece to Miami-based artist @AndyGTattoo, who later confirmed the tattoo was in fact YoungBoy's face.

Gates and YoungBoy’s friendship has been well-documented on social media. The former collaborators have been spotted hanging out together on multiple occasions, presumably working on a new project. Though they’re clearly ride-or-dies, some fans wondered why Gates would chose to permanently mark himself with YoungBoy’s mug. Some even went to the tattoo artist’s Instagram in an attempt to get an explanation.

“What’s the reason behind him getting a YoungBoy tat?” one person commented.

Andy’s reply was simply: “Ask him.”

But the confusion didn’t stop there. If you look closely, you’ll notice there’s something a little off about the piece. Pay attention to YoungBoy’s right hand. How many fingers do you see? Many commenters said they saw five, not counting his hidden thumb, which means Youngboy appeared to have a total of six fingers on his right hand.

Many eagle-eyed fans brought this to Andy’s attention; however, the tattoo artist was quick to provide an explanation: “lol I’m sorry you are confused but that’s not a finger its his palm fat,” he wrote on Instagram.

At least one of the mysteries were solved.
