Last week, SZA made a cameo in Childish Gambino's "This Is America" video and it seems he's about to return the favor in her forthcoming "Garden" visual.
SZA shared a short clip of the video on Sunday evening, revealing that it will star herself, Donald Glover, and Audrey Rowe (her mother). "Mommy u mean more than energy provides," she wrote in an Instagram caption. "My Ace. My apex. My co designer. Happy Mother’s Day all."
The video will be directed by Karena Evans, the Toronto director who was behind Drake's "God's Plan" and "Nice For What" visuals.
The teaser didn't include a release date for the video itself, but it did give us a good idea what its theme will be: SZA's relationship with her mother. The clip includes a charming back-and-forth, in which SZA's grandmother says, "You ain't have shit to say to me and I ain't got shit to say to you."
