In the wake of Mr. C's "Stand Up" single and the subsequent full length Incidents album, the rave OG is releasing a new single "Ripple Effect", along with four new remixes. For his first of two contributions to the collection, fellow Superfreq don Noël Jackson adjusts the bass line and synths to take the original single from a 303-laden acid squelcher into a seven-minute Detroit roller. While the acidic spirit of the original is still central to the track, this new, expansive version gives the already thumping track even more room to blossom.
Elsewhere on the remix package, French producer Chloé and M_nus' Marc Houle step up to deliver their versions while the digital edition of the release will also feature an additional '108BPM' remix from Jackson. Stream the former Noël Jackson remix exclusively below.
