The Grammys are only a few weeks away, but it's starting to sound like a lot of major artists are planning to skip the event. According to TMZ, Justin Bieber, Kanye West, and Drake are all planning to miss the event. The report states that Bieber and Drake don't view the awards as relevant for young artists. Drizzy and Bieber have 12 nominations between them. A source close to Drake confirmed that he's not planning to attend. The Toronto rapper is currently overseas touring Europe.

As for Kanye, the report doesn't give a clear reason for skipping the Grammys, but includes this quote from a source: "Let's put it this way. He's received 21 Grammys, but when he was head-to-head against a white singer, he never won." Kanye is nominated for eight Grammys this year. Add in the fact that Frank Ocean didn't even considering submitting his album to the Grammys, and that's a lot of star power missing from the night. Back in October, 'Ye threatened to skip the Grammys if Ocean wasn't nominated. Prior to that, Kanye tweeted that he had a plan to fix the Grammys and that the awarding system was all out of wack.

We'll continue to update this story as more details become available.
