Frank Ocean to Headline Multiple Festivals in 2017

Frank Ocean is set to headline three European Festivals next summer.

First, he will performing at the Primavera Sound Festival in Barcelona, Spain between May 31 and June 4. Next, he'll head to the NorthSide Festival in Aarhus, Denmark on June 9 before headlining his first U.K. festival when he plays Lovebox the following month at Victoria Park on July 14. The three performance announcements mark Ocean's first confirmed live shows since July 2014.

Even more good news arrived Tuesday when the Hangout Music Festival announced its 2017 lineup and revealed that Frank Ocean will be headlining. The annual Gulf Shores, Alabama festival will now be a prime place for Frank Ocean's stateside fans to see him live.

Ocean will also be performing at Sasquatch! Music Festival, which takes place in May 2017. While a press release for the announcement did not list him as a headliner, there's a pretty good chance he'll be taking on that role for the three-day festival at The Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington. 2016 has been a huge year for music releases from Ocean who first dropped the visual album Endless on Apple Music before independently releasing his album Blonde on his own Boys Don't Cry label. Many speculated that the performer might have released Endless to fulfill his contractual obligations to Def Jam. Fans also got Frank Ocean's magazine when the music dropped and he even shared some exclusive new merchandise for Black Friday. His producer, Malay, also teased a new collaboration with Ocean, leading many to hope we might get new music.

Of course, Ocean has pretty much stayed out of limelight and we haven't seen much of him since his music dropped other than his appearance at The White House State Dinner. Now, fans can rest easy knowing they will finally have the chance to see Frank Ocean live again next summer.
