R. Kelly is currently blowing up Twitter over his latest, very controversial, reported relationship with a teenager. Yes, the man that has faced numerous sexual assault cases throughout his career is now rumored to be dating a 19-year-old girl by the name of Halle Calhoun. They were spotted out together over the weekend at Gold Room in Atlanta, Ga.
To put this in perspective, let's remember that R. Kelly is now 49 years old. That means that Calhoun wasn't even born yet when his hit single, "I Believe I Can Fly" topped the charts.

The singer's past has been a sensitive subject since 2002, when he was charged with child pornography after a video of him allegedly having sex and urinating on an underage girl became public. He was later acquitted of the charges in 2008. Even prior to that, he engaged in a very controversial relationship with a then-underage Aaliyah, ultimately marrying her and producing her debut studio album, Age Ain't Nothing But a Number. In a 2016 interview, Kelly finally touched on the subject, saying, "I can tell you I loved her, I can tell you she loved me, we was very close. We were, you know, best best best best friends." When asked if he felt like he did anything wrong in regards to his relationship with Aaliyah, he said, "That's my answer forever: Absolutely not."
