Norweigan producer Cashmere Cat delivers once again with a fluid backbeat that immediately makes us feel like we're under water before The Weeknd dips in with his unmistakable croon, soaking the whole thing in his brand of R&B.
The song is the first taste of Cashmere Cat's forthcoming album that will also be titled, Wild Love. As of now, there is no set date for the new album to arrive, but the Norweigan producer did confirm that the project is on the way by sharing the album artwork.
Fortunately, this isn't the only new music we can expect from the Weeknd who is currently working on the follow-up to his acclaimed sophomore album, Beauty Behind the Madness. Earlier this week, a Republic Records executive revealed that The Weeknd is hitting the studio with Daft Punk.
It's clear all artists involved have are hitting the studio hard these days. Fro now, listen to Cashmere Cat, the Weeknd and Francis and the Lights' "Wild Love" below.
