Chance the Rapper has been repping the Chicago White Sox for years and today he took the field to throw out the team's ceremonial first pitch for their home opener against the Cleveland Indians. Chano took the mound and threw the pitch in Chicago's blustering fit of snow. He also made sure to treat the audience to some of his dance moves to get everyone as turned up as him. Of course, he hit the field donning one of the new hats he redesigned for his hometown sports team.
The pitch marked a monumental moment for the Chicago White Sox who are entering a new era with a giant new video board at their improved U.S. Cellular Field. Chance even narrated the team's new introduction video. "From Hyde Park to Park Ridge, we wear our hearts on our pinstripe jerseys," he declares in a voiceover. More than that, the Windy City rapper is reportedly close to inking a deal with the team to become their official brand ambassador, according to ESPN. In the middle of all of this, Chano is also rumored to be dropping his third solo mixtape this month. For now, watch him kick off the game in Chicago above.
