Toronto-born producer E.Doza has built a small, but faithful following thanks to a Soulection co-sign, and a string of forward-thinking house remixes of tracks by Roy Wood$, The Internet, Janet Jackson, and more. Now residing in Guatemala, the BEVSTMODE beatsmith is expanding his horizons with a genre-bending new single.“Ventilation” combines earthy synth chords, arpeggiated leads, percussive samples, and tight snare rolls, landing somewhere in between futuristic hip-hop and hypnotic deep house.

“‘Ventilation’ was inspired by my move to Guatemala, and the love I have for blending as many genres as I can into one song,” E.Doza told Complex via email. “I wanted to show everyone who listens to my music that I don’t only make house. I’m a very versatile producer and I want people to see that.”

Listen to “Ventilation” below. Stay tuned for more from E.Doza, as he rolls out additional tracks from a new EP over the next couple of months.
