Earlier this month Kanye West surprised fans with the release of two "new" songs in the form of an updated "Say You Will" and an apparently early version of The Weeknd's "Tell Your Friends," renamed "When I See It." The Weeknd's version was originally produced by Ye and Mike Dean, and the Houston icon has just shared a four-minute long extended ending of the track that's heavy on some familiarly wailing guitar.
Dean announced the release earlier today, writing on Instagram, "Mixing the extended ending. Just gonna post end. Someone else can edit to full version that was dropped." Whether this belongs on "Tell Your Friends" or "When I See It" is up for debate, and while Dean references both of the songs in his Soundcloud upload, it seems like he's talking about the recent Ye drop in that Instagram post. Either way, hopefully some enterprising music head will splice the tracks together soon so we can listen to the full track in all its glory. For now, you can listen to the new ending below:
