As devotees await the arrival of Plies' fifth album Purple Heart, due later this year, the noted Floridian has rewarded the virtue of patience with a new mixtape brilliantly entitled Ain't No Mixtape Bih. The tape features production from Jahlil Beats, Rico Love, Filthy Beatz, and a slew of others. At 18 tracks deep, Ain't No Mixtape Bih takes the edge off the five-year gap between Plies' 2010 album Goon Affiliated and the aforementioned Purple Heart.
On Friday, Plies teased the slightly meta mixtape with the beach-friendly video for "Lil Babi," before temporarily sending some mild tweeted vitriol toward LiveMixTapes, who were presumably a little late with the upload:
