Joe Budden likes to troll, and he also likes to speak his mind. During his I'll Name This Podcast Later show, he decided to talk about Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj's relationship with an emphasis on how Meek was carrying himself during this year's BET Awards. Everyone joked about Meek being down with the #bashfulboyz. But who wouldn't be smitten if their significant other were Nicki Minaj?

After getting dragged on Twitter by both Meek and Nicki for his comments, Joe took to Hot 97 to clarify what he said. Ebro antagonized Joe by accusing him of attacking Meek Mill's "lovely and adorable relationship" to which Joe replied: "First of all, if there's anyone that's for love in the community and to your significant other, it would be me."

He furthered explained why he touched on that particular topic and said, "This is what happens on podcasts. You half-heartedly speak on things that might be a hot topic...So the awards came on and the camera guys just showed a lot of shots of Meek blissfully smiling in love. I thought it was funny...so we joked about it on the podcast, he says."

Budden went on to blame it on blogs transcribing his comments and making it sound more serious than it actually was. "I didn't think it was possible to take it as a serious sentiment. I was talking about lightskin men versus darkskin men. I didn't think anyone with half a brain would take those comments seriously." Ebro agreed. Laura Styles also asked Joe whether or not he and Meek are still good even after their Twitter spat. "Well, not that this is any gauge, he still follows me," he said.

You can hear the entire interview above where Ebro also asks if Budden and Meek would ever battle one another. "I don't think it would be that entertaining, number one," he said. "Number two, I have every intention on apologizing to the both for them being offended. You apologize when you offend people today. That's what adults do." Ebro and Rosenberg continued to bait him on battle rapping, too. "I'm in a group with Slaughterhouse and we rap with Eminem, please don't put words in my mouth. And he's with MMG and they rap with [Rick] Ross, and I just don't think it would be very entertaining,"
