If you've never been to a camping music festival like Bonnaroo, you likely don't understand how dirty the human body can get. With temperatures hovering around 90° when you aren't crunched inside a crowd of people in front of a stage (and a good 15 degrees warmer when you are), you get very sweaty. On top of the sweat, the ground is pounded into dust by the approximately 90,000 individuals walking the festival grounds in Manchester, Tenn., and that dust mixes with your sweat to create a dirt suit you wear on top of your clothes and on any visible skin—and there's lots of visible skin here.

But Bonnaroo is remedying the problem this year with pretty sophisticated shower technology, including speakers built into the shower heads that play music from festival artists. If you're curious about the process, this is what it's like to shower at Bonnaroo.
