Over the weekend, BBC’s own Gilles Peterson introduced a new segment into his regular programming. After a tribute to the late jazz legend Ornette Coleman, Peterson curated a playlist of Bilal songs that included his collaboration with Kendrick Lamar and Adrian Younge called “Money Over Love.”

Although K. Dot and Bilal officially premiered the song at a show in LA last month, this is the first time we’re hearing a CD quality version. The track is vintage soul with hints of psychedelic funk and jazz, which are very much Younge’s trademark. K. Dot’s rapid-fire verse comes in after the first hook and only makes the song even better. We can’t wait to hear the whole thing.

The track is set to appear on his upcoming album, In Another Life, dropping on June 30. Listen to it below.
