Thousand Attend B.B. King's Viewing In Mississippi

Thousands attend B.B. King's open casket viewing in Mississippi today.

While there is still a lot internal familial controversy surrounding the late blues legend's death, B.B. King's there is no doubt about his legacy and world wide influence. The 89 year old musician passed away on May 14, 2015 at his home in Las Vegas, after suffering a series of strokes. After already having a public viewing and invitation only memorial service in Vegas, King's body was flown to Memphis, Tennessee for a tribute Wednesday. Today (May 29) over 3,000 fans, friends, and family members filed past his open casket in the last viewing before his Funeral in Mississippi. 

Famed bluesman, Buddy Guy attend the services and reminisced about King: "His left hand was a special effect." He will be buried at the B.B. King Museum and Delta Interpretive Center in his hometown of Indianola, Mississippi.
