Dr. Dre recently sat down with Big Boy for an in-depth interview that covered a lot of different topics from the formation of N.W.A. to how "Nuthin' But A 'G' Thang" with Snoop Dogg came together.
The West Coast legend also spoke about the progress of the upcoming biopic Straight Outta Compton, which is produced by Ice Cube. "I hope they can be inspired," he said of what viewers should takeaway from the film. "That was the main word that we used when we went into this. We wanted to be inspirational. We wanted to show just the ultimate brotherhood. Betrayal. It has everything. We really wanted to get across how we feel about women because there’s a big misconception."
In these 16 minutes, Dre packs a bunch of information about his initial worries of Straight Outta Compton, making amends with Eazy-E before he died, working with Eminem, and if he’ll release an official soundtrack for the film containing new music. There’s a lot of highlights to sift through, so check it out above.
