De'Von Pickett, a well-known tour and road manager in the music industry, was fatally stabbed outside of a bar in Philadelphia last night. Details are still scarce, but according to NBC, a fight that started inside the Che Bar & Grill in Philly led to the deadly stabbing, which also left Eric Parker, also a tour manager, critically injured. His condition has yet to be expanded on, but the police do expect him to survive. No arrests have been made as of yet in the case, but police do have a suspect in mind and believe it is a former employee at the bar who was just recently fired.

Word of this tragic news has already brought in thoughts and condolences from the music community, as Nicki Minaj, Pusha T, and Fabolous all took to Twitter to share their remorse. Nicki also revealed that Pickett was in Philly working on her next tour, which is slated to begin in Europe this spring. Along with his work as a tour manager, which was extensive if you take a look at Pickett's Instagram page, he was the co-founder of BK Nerd & Co, and dealt with branding, public relations, and more. We will continue to update this tragic story as details continue to emerge.

Two members of my team were stabbed last night in Philly. One was killed. They had only been there for two days rehearsing for the tour.
