Today Run The Jewels released the first video in its "Barbershop Talk" series with Mass Appeal. In it Killer Mike and El-P sit down with four kids in Atlanta to discuss gender, swearing, drugs, and other social issues. You'd think the two grown men would be the ones dropping knowledge, but the youngins actually have just as much wisdom to share (probably because it has yet to be beaten out of the by society).

When asked about whether non-violent drug offenders should go to rehab or jail, one kid went with the former and said, "They ain't do nothing bad. They just drinking and stuff. They ain't do nothing to hurt the police or nothing."

Killer Mike also gave some sensible advice about drugs. "When you get older there will probably be medicinal marijuana and social marijuana available," he said. "If you guys ever indulge I don't want you to be underage, and I want you to be responsible because your little brains are growing. And we want them to finish growing because when I get old I'm probably going to need you guys to have a firm tax base to take care of me because this music stuff's probably not going to work out."
