While we all wait patiently on Jeremih's next album, at least he's been bodying some of his guest vocals over the last few months. Case in point: Dutch singer Natalie La Rose linked up with the Chicago crooner for "Somebody." Before you let the Whitney Houston "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" melody and inspiration bother you, give it a few spins—we called it earlier this month on our "Bout to Blow" feature but the track is straight up infectious. Written by Flo Rida, Natalie, and Rook Monroe, “Somebody” also features production from Future Classic

“It’s a fun and funky song,” La Rose said in a press statement. “It’s feel-good, and it reminds me of summertime. I love to be around people, have a great time, and dance. That’s what it stands for. While we were recording Jeremih happened to be in Miami for a Big Dreams for Kids Back to School Event and Flo invited him to the studio to sing on it. He nailed it on the first take!”

La Rose is readying her debut album for 2015 via Republic Records and Universal Music but for now, check the '90s-inspired video for "Somebody" above and grab the single on iTunes now.
