Nipsey Hussle is prepping to release Mailbox Money later month, which the Crenshaw lyricist is identifying as an "album before the album," with his oft-delayed Victory Lap to drop afterward. The project will be released on the same Proud 2 Pay scale as his 2013 mixtape, Crenshaw, which he sold 1000 copies of at $100 a piece. This time, however, he'll be releasing 100 copies for $1,000 each. Mailbox Money will also be released for free via iTunes.
As a teaser from his upcoming project, Nipsey shares "50 Niggaz," a haunting cut that deals with the struggles of living the street life. The record also touches on the death of Trayvon Martin. Check it out below.
