Looking to expand on the success of her breakout hit "Try Me" and her recent Sell Sole mixtape, DeJ Loaf drops off visuals for one of the tape's standout tracks, "Blood." The song, which was produced by DDS, carries a melancholy vibe, but carried by DeJ's hook, "Ain't no hoe in my blood, no way, no sir," the track takes an empowering turn. "Loyalty over love, I'll kill a bitch on purpose," she raps.
Southern trap stars Young Thug and Birdman also join the pint-sized Detroit rapper on "Blood," and feature heavily in its video. Directed by BE EL BE, the video takes us through various shots of Loaf, Thugger, and Birdman mobbing everywhere and anywhere. They're just hanging out for the sake of hanging out, and it's awesome. The video's cuts are aggressive, shifting viewers from scene to scene rapidly. The trio hits up the club, rooftops, stairways, hallways—it doesn't matter, so long as Birdman has plenty of room to light one of his legendary Stunna Blunts.
