Excision's Rottun Recordings imprint is set to launch 20-year-old LUMBERJVCK's JVCKWOOD EP on Monday, a four-track banger that's as masterfully produced as it is humongous. Giant dubstep synth work is the theme, and this Arcata, California native and Los Angeles resident pulls back on drums and leans on dark and sophisticated synth sound design to fill in the blanks. "Cordwood" aligns with the core values of the project, but flips between electro, dubstep, and trap in a way that most producers can't even begin to come close to executing. It's absolutely huge, and the rest of this EP is just as impressive.  We highly suggest you check the stream below, and take the $4 dive and pre-order the full release.
