We recently got a chance to sit down and chop it up with everyone's favorite hit-maker, Ty Dolla $ign. The Cali singer/producer extraordinaire talked about his new mixtape, Sign Language, as well as who's been working with recently (a list that includes Big Sean, French Montana, and Dom Kennedy). He gave a special shout-out to working with Lupe Fiasco on "Next To It," saying that Lupe impressed him by dropping his entire verse on the song in one take.
Ty also dropped that he'd love to collaborate with "anyone dope in music," and rattled off Prince, Drake, and D'Angelo as some of his dream collabs. He went on to talk about working his boys, YG and DJ Mustard, including how Mustard went from simply spinning to creating beats to being one of the most in-demand producers today.
