Last year, Joey Purp released "Don't Stop." More than a month before fellow Savemoney member Chance The Rapper dropped the groundbreaking Acid Rap, Purp's song showcased the talent and diversity that is inherent in the crew. Over an aggressive, flute-laden instrumental, he dropped "some of that real shit," speaking out against the perils of his hometown, Chicago. It's a song that speaks both to rich heritage ("Chitown, where the Conflict gets Crucial") and the promise of budding stars ("...And me and Chance the hottest niggas out without a deal") in Chicago's rap scene.

After dropping a group mixtape with Kami De Chukwu as Leather Corduroys, Joey has come back to release the music video for "Don't Stop," directed by Thelovism. Purp takes to the pulpit as he delivers his audio sermon to the masses. It's a resounding reminder that Chicago's talent is on the rise. Watch it above.
