If you aren't up on The Rub, you haven't been properly schooled in DJ excellence. This crew has been working together since 2002, putting together a monthly party that touches down every last Saturday at The Bell House in Brooklyn and is has been described th the Village Voice and New York Press as the best party in Brooklyn/NYC (respectively). While they were previously a trio (alongside Cosmo Baker), DJ Ayres and DJ Eleven have been holding things down for the last few years with The Rub. While many remember their impressive History of Hip-Hop mixtape series, they are at heart dope ass DJs, and know their shit when it comes to numerous styles of music. Hell, DJ Ayers is the "A" in T&A Records! To hype up the latest installment of The Rub (which goes down on this Saturday, April 26, alongside DJ Sober), the guys cooked up a special promo set for our DAD Mix series:

"We've been throwing our monthly party for nearly twelve years, and we've done a mix together every month for at least eight of those (shameless plug). As always we give you a ton of variety, of mostly new stuff, with a sprinkling of classics. For DAD, we decided to skip the hip-hop and make the emphasis more on electronic records (house / garage / disco / trap / twerk) we're into right now. R.I.P. to the legend Frankie Knuckles."
