A year or two ago, I saw Antwon shut down the basement at Santos Party House. He was mesmerizing and hilarious on stage. The basement is tiny, everyone was on top of each other and his set had the highest energy I've seen in a long time.

In 2012, he dropped End Of Earth after also releasing the incredible video for "Living Every Dream." These days, he's gearing up to drop his "free album" Heavy Hearted in Doldrums (It's mixed and mastered as opposed to a mixtape) on May 6 via UNIF, which will also be available on a limited edition picture disc.

Today, we're premiering his latest track "Cold Tears" produced by Matrixxman below. It's been interesting to see his rise in hip-hop, especially since he was brought up on Bay Area thrashcore which is obviously present in his raps today. On the second verse off "Cold Tears," Antwon raps about people getting jealous now that he's about to blow, but he's still got that fuck everybody mentality—which just goes to show, he's on the verge of something big.
