Representing Los Angeles by way of Scotland, Nom De Strip (FKA Stupid Fresh) has been doing the damn thing over the last three years. With a pair of EPs and a remix of Tommy Trash's "Monkey See, Monkey Do" on deadmau5's mau5trap imprint, he's been a force to be reckoned with in the house scene. Seizing the opportunity, Chris Lake snapped Nom up for his Rising Music imprint in 2013, and has seen Nom's sound take off. Just one listen to his Devil's BBQ EP and you should be hooked. Right now Nom is on Rising Music's fall tour, and he contributed to their series of Five Tracks, giving us a great look at the tracks that influenced him to bring the ruckus in a way that only he can.
