Mixtape: Spenzo "In Spenzo We Trust"

"Is that enough for right now?"

Spenzo, much like many other Chicago acts, gives the distinct impression that he's trying to bring the city's scene along with him. Just look at how many Chicago rappers showed up (Mano, Mic Terror, LEP Bogus Boys, etc.) for the above video. One can hear the hunger in Spenzo's voice, even when he's not rapping in a blizzard, and it comes through forcefully on this new mixtape, In Spenzo We Trust, on which the city has been waiting for quite some time.

In conjunction with the tape release, the video for "Heaven Can Wait" follows Spenzo through the realization of his own death, as he attempts to reach out and touch the still living. It's a powerful song, and he dedicates it to both the victims of violence in Chicago as well as Trayvon Martin. Watch the video above and check out the tape below.
