From hip-hop to rock, to reggae, this week has been all about collaborations. Some of them make perfect sense, others caught us a little off guard, but they all brought on some great new music. Check out the best of the week and see what teamwork can do.

4. Blue Sky Black Death and Nacho Picasso "Scooby Snacks"

It's hard to pick favorites from production duo Black Star Black Death and Seattle rapper Nacho Picasso's new album, Exalted, but "Scooby Snacks" is a good starting point if you're looking for some dark new head-in-the-clouds style of rap.

3. Big Boi & Theophilus London f/ Tre Luce "She Said OK"

We weren't sure what to expect with a Big Boi and Theophilus London collaboration, but we can't say we saw "She Said OK" coming. The track has the two rappers getting into some smooth zones for the laid back "She Said OK." Sonically, this one sounds like it's for the ladies, but with lyrics like that, maybe not.

2. Bobby Womack f/ Lana Del Rey "Dayglo Reflection"

Another collaboration we didn't see coming is that of Rock and Roll Hall-Of-Famer Bobby Womack and Lana Del Rey. Womack described working with Lana as being "like two people in church." It certainly sounds like it. Womack's album, The Bravest Man in the Universe, is out June 11.

1. Smoke DZA f/ Domo Genesis & ScHoolboy Q "Ashtray"

Over production by Harry Fraud, Smoke DZA joins forces with Domo Genesis and Schoolboy Q for a new smoker's anthem. But this isn't your typical half-baked stoner song—think intense deliveries, production with some muscle, and no slacking off. Here's to hoping Rugby Thompson, DZA's collaborative album with Harry Fraud, is all on the level of "Ashtray."
