Supremely talented Minneapolis, Minn. rapper MaLLy began building a buzz back in the summer of 2009, when he dropped a criminally slept-on in The Passion. Since then, he has seen his stock rise considerably, thanks in part to his killer Free On The 15th singles series with producer The Sundance Kid.

This would lead to one of MaLLy's biggest breaks to date: landing a spot on Atmosphere's Welcome To Minnesota tour this past winter. He's only going to continue garnering attention like that once the world hear's his latest single, "Shine," which features another gem of a (sample-free!) beat from The Sundance Kid. MaLLy uses the thick layers of bright keys, fuzzy bass, and slapping drums to talk his shit and make it clear that we should all be listening when his new album, The Last Great, drops May 15.
