Dave Jolicoeur and Kelvin Mercer, two of the three founding members of De La Soul, have formed a two-man rap group under the name First Serve. In this, they will go by Jacob "Pop Life" Barrow or Plug 1 and Deen Whittier or Plug 2, respectively.

First Serve will be dropping its first album in April, but until then, get your fix with the first single, "Pushin' Aside, Pushin' Along," which is available to stream over at Soundcloud. If that doesn't do it for you, Jacob and Deen have also put up a mixtape, The Goon Times Mixtape, available to stream and download below.
