Not a stranger to rap beef, Canibus took it to the 2011 method of dissing rappers, and used social networking to diss up and coming rapper J. Cole through a Facebook wall post as well as recorded a track called "J. Clone," and the response to his diss was overwhelming. But not in his favor.

After realizing what a fool he was, he took the time out to record this apology for his mistake and retract his earlier statements considering the backlash against him was so overwhelming. You can watch his scripted video above, where he says he will "sit his old ass down" and dubs Cole "the reigning champ" of hip-hop.

Canibus is right, though. This was indeed quite tacky, and the opposite of G, but it looks like this is what it takes for him to remain relevant in 2011.
