Jason Goldwatch: "I remember a couple nights before the shoot, it flew up on Twitter that [Tyler's] leg hurt. And I was like, 'Oh, shit.' I sort of watched that occur, and then he was tweeting photos about it, so there was some minor, behind-the-scenes panic initially.

"But really, now we’re talking wheelchairs, electric scooters, and canes. It became this whole second level of shit to play with, to play on, and to play around. Again, to build on this structure—and just give them a few toys.

"We were hours away from getting our first shot off and he was just destroying that scooter. I was thinking to myself, 'Fuck, you idiot. Give Tyler, The Creator a scooter?' We had two of these things and we should have known he was going to run that shit into the ground. He was already having fun with just the initial props that we had, before we even got going."
