Obama Just Showed Trump What A Presidential Twitter Spree Should Look Like

As opposed to, you know, the other guy.

Obama final press conference
US President Barack Obama leaves after his final press conference at the White House January 18, 2017 in Washington, DC. 'I think it's in America's interest and the world's interest that we have a constructive relationship with Russia. That's been my approach throughout my presidency,' Obama said at his final press conference.

After a particularly bleak and relentless year, it's nice to see some well-written words from President Barack Obama bouncing around the timeline instead of the usual gobbledygook that's constantly defecated from the slew of handles affiliated with an increasingly nonsensical failed steak salesman.

"As we count down to the new year, we get to reflect and prepare for what’s ahead," Obama said Friday. "For all the bad news that seemed to dominate our collective consciousness, there are countless stories from this year that remind us what's best about America." Obama then gave a shoutout to a few people he felt made 2017 a little less shitty, including a wedding planner who flipped a postponed ceremony into a Hurricane Harvey volunteer group and a 10-year-old Chicago child who helped homeless people by putting together "blessing bags."

"Each of us can make a difference, and all of us ought to try," Obama added. "So go keep changing the world in 2018."

Goddamn, I miss this dude.
