Canada's Wonderland has banned one of its patrons after they filmed and posted a video of themselves on a roller coaster.

The user posted a brief five-second video on TikTok explaining that they'd been banned for a year because of a previous video they recorded of themselves riding a roller coaster.

According to BlogTo, the TikTok user says the ban came after they rode the Behemoth and Mighty Canadian Minebuster rides and posted videos of them on their social media channel.

The person also says that they never received any type of warning, just an immediate year-long ban.

"Anyone found breaking this policy may face ejection from the park and have their season pass revoked. No refund will be given," Canada's Wonderland website explains.

"We're bringing extra awareness to this policy now because we want to emphasize that mobile phones are included in this list of restricted items. Everyone these days is on social media, connected to their phones, filming video or snapping selfies. There is no shortage of fun experiences to capture at the park through photos or videos."

The user hasn't uploaded any videos since and it seems unlikely that any appeal would go through.
