Dick Cheney Signs a Waterboard Kit in Teaser for Sacha Baron Cohen's New TV Show

After teasing a mysterious Trump-bashing project on July 4, Cohen unveiled a clip from his new interview-based show, featuring former vice president Dick Cheney.

"Imagine if Sacha Baron Cohen had been undercover secretly filming a new show for a year," Showtime suggests in the teaser for a new TV show from the notorious prankster behind Ali G, Borat, and Brüno.

Cheney famously told reporters in 2009 that he is "a strong believer" in the highly controversial water-based torture technique to coax information out of enemies. In Cohen's teaser clip, Cheney can be heard chuckling, "That's a first. That's the first time I've ever signed a waterboard."

The untitled show is cloaked in secrecy, but Showtime has been releasing mysterious teasers for a series arriving on July 15 that promises to be "shameless," "unhinged," and "cold-blooded." One teaser even called it "perhaps the most dangerous TV show in history."
