Donald Trump is a massive jerk, there's no question about it, though he went further to confirm it during a short interview with Fox News' chief sniveling Trump suck-up, Sean Hannity on Thursday evening. Hannity, who had a shit-eating grin on his face throughout the interview, which comes as Trump's first for a cable news organization since being elected, asked Trump about the college students who are being given "cocoa" and "aromatherapy" by their professors and Trump responded with vague promises and a classic Trump troll maneuver.

Hannity asked Trump if he had any words for young people who are upset and being given "cocoa therapy, and aromatherapy, and pet therapy, and coloring books, and Play-Doh, they're very upset, they couldn't deal with it. Anything you would like to say to them to reassure their sensitive feelings that it's going to be okay?"

Trump responded by saying how "safe" and "prosperous" the country is going to be, adding that he thinks most of the parents of upset young people voted for him:

I think they're going to be very happy. I think we're going to have a very safe country, a very prosperous country, we're going to do things that are going to create jobs for their parents in many cases, where their parents are going to be able to do a lot better. Although most of their parents voted for me, so I think they don't have the problem. But we're going to have a very prosperous and very safe country, and I hope they realize that very soon.

To Hannity's "point" about young people being upset: it's true, a lot of young people (and people of all ages, really) are crushed because a reality TV star will soon take over the White House. And while there's no doubt many people are practicing self-care, students have been out in the streets, protesting and organizing against Trump and what he stands for.

University students have been organizing for their schools to become sanctuary campuses, to help safeguard undocumented students from being deported under Trump.

Even high school students who are not legally of voting age took to the streets all across the country, walking out of school to protest Trump.

Footage from the protests doesn't show any Play-Doh, just young people fighting to save their country.
