Following Donald Trump’s indictment and subsequent arrest, searches for pornographic actress Stormy Daniels on Pornhub have massively increased.

Per TMZ, the pornography website has tracked the number of searches for Daniels,  and found a substantial increase since Trump was indicted. On March 29 there were 34,443 searches for Daniels, a number that shot up to 154,057 the following day. By March 31, there were over 630,000 searches, and numbers have continued to hover around that figure ever since.

The projected number of searches for Daniels on Tuesday, April 4, for instance, is expected to hit as high as 650,000. When compared to the average daily number of searches for her on the site in the first three months of 2023, that’s an increase of around 32,400 percent.

Trump was indicted on March 30 by a Manhattan grand jury for his alleged part in a hush-money scheme involving a payment to Daniels, with whom he is alleged to have had an affair. The trial in the case kicked off this week, and if found guilty of the 34 charges against him he could be facing up to 136 years in prison. He’s likely to face far less time, however, and has pleaded not guilty.

As CNN reported on Wednesday, Trump secured a victory in court when Daniels was ordered to pay an additional $120,000 in legal fees to his legal team. That’s on top of the $500,000 she was ordered to pay after she lost a defamation suit against the former U.S. president in 2018. She filed the lawsuit over comments he made about her allegation a man threatened her in a parking lot to keep quiet about her alleged affair with Trump.
