18. Palace

Palace is a British skateboard company whose cool graphic T-shirts and dope roster of riders gave them instant street cred among cool guys. Then they dropped a collaboration with Umbro, drawing on equal parts nostalgia and football hooliganism. After that sold out instantly, it was clear they had developed a solid fanbase. That was proven when they established a pop-up web shop... which promptly crashed as everything was instacopped.
