Snoop Dogg knows a thing or two about good '90s music, and in a recent Instagram post, the Doggfather gave his stamp of approval to Bruno Mars' rising hit "Finesse."

"You've got to get your '90s on with this shit right here," Snoop said while vibing to the track in a Lakers jersey.  "Y'all got a hit with that right there, that's a motherfucking monster jam. Cardi B and Bruno Mars? I'll smoke to that."

"Finesse" was initially released as part of Mars' 2016 record 24K Magic, but it has caught a new wave of attention since the singer dropped a remix featuring Cardi B and a DayGlo, In Living Color-inspired video.

Snoop is the latest celebrity to shoutout the track after multiple members of the Wayans family, who created In Living Color, praised Bruno and Cardi's clip on social media. Snoop said in December he wanted to make a gospel album in 2018, but maybe he'll be inspired to go more of a New Jack Swing route after being so taken by "Finesse."

Activist DeRay Mckesson even reposted the video of Snoop, which caught Mars' attention.

And if the new remix somehow isn't a pure enough hit of nostalgia for you, check out this "Female Rap Megamix" version, which puts classic bars from Nicki Minaj, Queen Latifah, Missy Elliott, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, and Foxy Brown on top of the funky beat.
