Joey Bada$$ and Troy Ave have never gotten along very well, but Troy took things to a whole new level tonight when he dropped the diss track "BAD ASS on SoundCloud. Over a Yankee-produced beat, Troy goes for Joey's neck. "You sold a couple records but nobody cares/You never on the radio because nobody cares," he begins, before coming at Joey for being a "filthy backpack rapper" and having a "drug addict face." He even references former Pro Era member Capital Steez, who committed suicide in 2012. "Don't be suicidal like your friend in the casket/Steez burning in hell," he raps.

The song comes in response to Joey's line on recent single "Ready," where he rapped "My nigga Kirk just outsold Troy Ave." The pair also went back and forth last June over record sales after Joey called himself the "#1 independent hip-hop artist/brand in the world." Troy took issue with the comments at the time, calling Joey a "fake independent" on Twitter and listing off some of his big-name sponsorship deals. Although the beef looked to be settled down for a while, between "Ready" and "BAD ASS" it's clear that the two New Yorkers are still not feeling each other at all.

Wasting no time, Joey came back with a simple tweet.
