Italian-based brand UPPERCUT is not playing around for next season’s collection. While we’re used to seeing high-end suits coming from the boot-shaped country, UPPERCUT is an amalgamation of different styles ranging from menswear to streetwear all rolled into one. Classic trench coats are updated with heat-sealed seams and laser-perforated details. While that’s one of the many highlights in the outerwear range, a clear standout is a varsity jacket constructed in a reflective material. While many use just strips of the textile, the whole jacket is reflective, which you don’t see around quite often.
It doesn’t end there; the knit and T-shirt selection is also worth checking out. Cardigans and crewnecks get an intricate quilted pattern as well as some nice ventilation features, while tees showcase insane graphics. By looking at the collection as a whole, you can tell that materials and details were definitely not compromised.
The brand might not be in your scope, but after looking at the spring/summer 2014 collection you might have to set your sights on copping a few of pieces.
