Super Bowl XLVI is upon us, and it feels like 2007 all over again. It’s a rematch between the New York Giants and the New England Patriots playing for the coveted Lombardi trophy. We all know what happened last time these two teams met—the Giants, a major underdog at the time, beat the undefeated Patriots, spoiling what was supposed to the Brady bunch's perfect season. While sports analysts are matching up the X’s and O’s, Complex is going a different route to see how these two teams stack up against each other in the style department.

We’ve zoned in on every little thing from the coaches to the quarterbacks to see what these two teams have to offer. Check out our NFL Super Bowl Style Showdown.

Arrival

Super Bowl XLVI Arrivals

WHO: Eli Manning (Giants) vs. Tom Brady (Patriots)

The two quarterbacks walked off the tarmac dressed to win. Eli wore a pin-stripe suit complete with a pocket square, and Tom Brady looked fresh by adding gingham to his outfit.

WINNER: Patriots. This one was close, but Tom eventually got the point for adding some flare to his outfit with the gingham shirt. It also looks like he put more thought into the fold of his pocket square.

Coaches

Coaches

WHO: Tom Coughlin (Giants) vs. Bill Belichick (Patriots)

Tom Coughlin knows how to dress for the weather when it comes to game time. He rocks a fleece when it’s chilly out or a jacket when it’s below freezing (like when he almost froze his face off in the 2007 divisional game). Bill Belichick on the other hand is on some style Fear Factor type of shit. Who wears a hoodie with cut-off sleeves when it’s snowing or below zero?

WINNER: Giants. Sorry Belichick. Though we dap your "IDGAF" mindset, you look crazy in clothes that aren't fit for New England weather.

Endorsements

Endorsements

WHO: Eli Manning (Giants) vs. Tom Brady (Patriots)

Athletes make extra money on the side through endorsements. Eli Manning has his own limited edition Citizen Eco Drive watch. Tom Brady has two endorsements under his belt with Uggs and Stetson cologne.

WINNER: Giants. Really, do we really have to explain this one? Brady automatically gets deducted several points for Uggs, no matter how many Super Bowl rings he has. The majority of men outside of Australia are not going to wear Uggs. Also, have you ever stepped inside your grandfather’s closet? No? Well, that’s what Stetson smells like.

WHO: NY Giants Girl (Giants) vs. Minuteman (Patriots)

Each team has a rabid fan base, but there are those that always stand out. The Giants have Reby Sky also known as the NY Giant Girl. She shows up to games wearing all sorts of skimpy Giants outfits. The Patriots have the fans who dress like minutemen from the Revolutionary Army.

WINNER: Giants. When it comes down to it, a hot girl is more distracting during a football game than a fat dude wearing a tri-corner hat. Even if this were colonial times, a sultry woman could start and end any war.

WHO: Victor Cruz (Giants) vs. Chad Ochocinco (Patriots)

Victor Cruz has been spotted around familiar faces in streetwear, and according to Vashtie’s blog, she’s got a collaboration with him in the works. He also has his own clothing line called Young Whales, which he started with a former Giants teammate. Chad Ochocinco boasts 3 million plus followers on Twitter and he changed his last name from Johnson to Ochocinco (after his jersey number). Also, the man knows a thing or two about his Louboutin’s—just check his collection.

WINNER: Patriots. Ochocinco practically turned himself into a brand after changing his last name. The man is an endless self-promoter and he’s good at it. He shares his wealth by giving back, including buying dinners for fans or buying his teammates $28k worth of Beats by Dre headphones.

WHO: 50 Cent (Giants) vs. Steven Tyler (Patriots)

50 Cent is a New York native, so naturally he’s going to be a Giants fan. He’s so confident about his team that he bet $500k for the Giants to win against the 49ers. Even crazier, Fifty will tweet a photo of his you-know-what if his team ends up losing. Steven Tyler, a native Bostonian, sang the national anthem at the Patriots and Ravens game and murdered it—not in a good way.

WINNER: Giants. You don’t want 50 Cent to lose his bet, do you? Exactly. Nobody wants to see his junk.

City

City-Wide Style

WHO: New York (Giants) vs Boston (Patriots)

These two cities are big rivals when it comes to any sports teams, but we're talking about style here. Boston has cool shops like Bodega, Johnny Cupcakes, and Karmaloop, and the New England city is responsible for preppy fashion. Unfortunately, Boston is also notorious for being the worst-dressed city. New York on the other hand, is in its own world when it comes to style. 5th Ave, Fashion Week, the best designers, and streetwear empires all reside in New York.

WINNER: Giants. New York is the style capital, period. If anyone was keeping style scores against NYC and Boston, it would be a blowout.

WHO: Selita Ebanks (Giants) vs. Gisele Bündchen (Patriots)

Tom Brady is married to the highest-paid model in the world, Gisele Bündchen—probably why he's got so many haters. On the other hand, not a lot of people know that Osi Umenyiora (Giants Defensive End) and Selita Ebanks dated right after she broke up with Nick Cannon, but before she became a household name from starring in Kanye's "Power." Note: she's no longer with him.

WINNER: Patriots. We gotta give it up for Tom Brady for wifing up the Brazillian beauty. She's also on her way to becoming one of the first supermodels to be earning a billion dollars. As if they weren't already knee-deep in money, these two will be diving in cash like Scrooge McDuck.

Logo

Logo

WHO: Giants vs. Patriots

The Giants are one of the many teams in the New York area that don’t have a mascot. They just fly the N and Y letters high and proud. The Patriots have a modern upgrade of a Colonial minuteman.

WINNER: Patriots. Only a few people can geek out over font types, but the Pats logo looks so much cooler with a mascot, Patriot Pat, to go along with it.
