Abercrombie & Fitch always seems to be getting in trouble. A former pilot for the brand’s private jet is suing the company for age-discrimination after being fired and replaced by a younger pilot. But that’s not all—he's also revealed the truly bizarre in-flight rules and practices (enforced by A&F CEO Mike Jeffrie) required to fly aboard the plane.
According to the former pilot, there was a no-pants rule put in place. Similar to the dress code set in place for Abercrombie & Fitch store employees, models on-board the flight are required to wear boxer briefs, polo shirts, gloves, and flip-flops. But the weirdest detail required of the pilots is to play Phil Collins on homeward-bound flights. We’re surprised to see that the pilots aren’t required to announce, “The moose has landed” upon arrival. If you’re ever asked to fly the friendly skies aboard flight A&F with Phil Collins’ Take Me Home in the background, prepare an escape plan quickly.
