In two weeks, Frieze London will open at Regent's Park. While there will definitely be a lot to see at the 4-day art fair, visitors may also want an escape from all of the frenzy at some point. Luckily, a bunch of shows opened recently throughout the city, and there's something for everyone.
At Lazarides, for instance, Parisian street artist Ludo is exhibiting his signature green-hued works, and it's his first ever show in the UK. If street art isn't your thing, Carlos Ishikawa is currently showing the wacky works of Korakrit Arunanondchai and his twin Korapat in their exhibition "2557 (Painting with history in a room filled with men with funny names 2)." The exhibition depicts exactly what the longwinded title suggests: strange men (or more precisely, mannequins) in a room that has been splattered in paint. Those are just some of the exciting exhibitions happening in London throughout the month.
For those who won't be in London, do not fret. We've also included shows taking place in New York, Los Angeles, and other U.S. cities in our roundup of The Best Art Exhibitions to See This Month.
